Instructions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  • In a large bowl, mix together whole wheat flour, almond flour, chopped cashews, chopped pistachios, ghee, carom seeds, and salt. 
  • Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. 
  • Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them into discs or shapes of your choice. 
  • Place the mathris on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. 
  • Allow them to cool completely before serving. 

Recipe 4: Date Balls
